Web Development Process can be classified into different development life cycle of a few steps, such as the development of traditional software. Basically Web development is the design of a website for the World Wide Web using various programming and design technology.

Web development includes six processes:

Analysis:

Study and analyze the needs. This can be via e-mail, questionnaires, interactive sessions,etc., must analyze all aspects, including the existing web system and to meet the public.

Specifications and documentation:

Create a document functionality of the system to recognize the needs of all customers with all the smallest details. It would create a better understanding of the system to be developed. Also, not to mention all the future requirements and the costing of all the details.

Design:

This process includes the design of a prototype small-scale or small model working group. Itincludes activities of the system architecture and function of flow charts showing details of the system. This process can be a lot of suggestions from customers and the changes observed and should be discussed before the next phase.

Development:

Development transforms the detailed design and specification into actual product through various hard code programs. It includes integrationsource code, database files and content into a single module or product.

Testing and commissioning:

It includes the examination of the products or modules of the product through various tests like load test, cross-browser compatibility testing, resolution testing and integration testing. This includes the validation of the pages, the W3C Consortium. The finished product is used and the functions are performed by the system, the system shoulddo.

Marketing and maintenance:

Marketing is a process that includes the creation of meta tags, optimize the pages of various factors, the presentation of the site to various search engines. Maintenance is the important step of the process. It contains a frequently updated website to make it fresh. Various bug fixes and will be implemented in the maintenance phase.

The above steps are not fixed throughout the process of web development. It may, depending on thecompany policy and strategy.
